Perfumer's Note
A descendant of deep time: an ancient 95 million year old flower genus, predating even the existence of bees. Because they relied on beetles which have poor vision but great sense of smell, instead of vibrant colors, Magnolia emitted vibrant scents to attract their beetle pollinators.
This magnolia species is red-listed due to habitat loss and overharvesting. Ours is sourced responsibly, where blossoms are harvested from mature trees without damage and new trees are continually cultivated for future generations.
